As a participant of this fundraising 2007 Everest Base Camp “CLIMB FOR PEACE” you will have the opportunity to visit ancient and famous temples, palaces and places in Kathmandu This once in a lifetime experience will not end on your descent to Kathmandu. Once you have returned to civilization you will then have the opportunity to visit various projects designed to assist Nepali children, women, youth and the community we are working with. You will see the faces of the children and the people in the community that your funds will benefit.

Requirements for 2007 Everest Base Camp “Climb for Peace”

General Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must be in good health
  • Must be physically fit
  • Must have a teamwork mentality
The cost of this trek is US $1800.00. This price covers the following:
  • 4 nights hotel accommodation in a hotel in Kathmandu (2 nights before and 2 nights after the trek)
  • 3 meals while on the trek (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Accommodation in teahouses (lodges) during the trek
  • Domestic flights from and to Kathmandu-Lukla
  • Trekking permit and National Park Fees
  • All surface transportation to and from airports
  • A trek guide
  • Necessary porters
  • Trek Certificate & T –shirt give away
  • Transportation & Entrance fee during Sight seeing in Kathmandu
  • Rescue help if needed – Does not include emergency evacuation to your home country ???
  • Donation funds fee- US$ 500.00 The funds will goes to CCSV-Nepal project and activities funds, 75% (General child welfare funds) this will goes towards improving and supporting children centers, 10% empowering woman’s programs and helping community based projects, 10% goes to help the Tibetan Refugees Camp 5% will go towards operations and monitoring insuring that the funds spent wisely. Please take note that the bank also takes 5%commission on every transaction. (Via swift)
The Trek Fee does not include:
  • International flights to and from Kathmandu, Nepal
  • Airport Tax
  • Required travel insurance
  • Personal expenses such as alcoholic drinks, beverages, gifts, calls, laundry, etc.
  • Local transportation while in Kathmandu (excluding all hotel/airport transfers)
  • Visa for Nepal
  • Gratuities
  • Charges incurred as a result of delays beyond the control of CCSV-Nepal, and the trekking agency

To apply on this event 2007 Mt. Everest base camp trek, you must agree to our terms and condition. Once you decide to submit your application, we just ask a US$ 250.00 advance payment deposit to secure your place in this life-changing trek.

* Please note that the deposit is non-refundable and if you decide not to participate, your deposit will go directly to CCSV-Nepal Project funds. Thank you!

Important Note: Participants of 2007 Everest Base Camp “CLIMB for PEACE” will be asked to arrange their own flights to Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, Nepal.

HOW TO GET IN NEPAL

There are twelve major international airlines servicing Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. It has direct flights from London, Paris, Frankfurt, Dubai, Doha, Moscow, Karachi, Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, Varanasi, Dhaka, Bangkok, Singapore, Hong-Kong, Vienna, Osaka and Shanghai. For getting around the country, there is an excellent domestic air network.

Tourist Visa: Visa can be obtained from the following duration from Royal Nepalese Embassies or Consulates or at the entry points in Nepal.

Visa cost: US$ 30.00 (Single Entry) 60 days for the First Visit in a year.
