Do you want to use your holiday, Gap-Year or career break to do something different?

 Do you want to have a great time while traveling with an enriching authentic, life-changing experience? CCSV-Nepal offers a fair priced multiple days’ program designed to help you enjoy and experience more during your stay in Nepal. We had developed a new Program called "Voluntourism". As a local based volunteer organization we want to help people from all over the world to experience the combine comfort and relaxation of two to four weeks travel adventures holidays with great accommodation, sightseeing and a chance to volunteer. This opportunity allows you to do it all!  Explore the beauty of Nepal and give something back to the people you visited; to work alongside with local people on sustainable development projects and volunteer programs.

What is Voluntourism?

Voluntourism- is CCSV-Nepal initiative aimed to use volunteering works and tourism funds to alleviate poverty, implements Environmental Awareness and sustainable development programs within Nepal. This program gives you a combine travel experience and giving back to people in Need.

Kathmandu

The historic capital of Nepal, Kathmandu has long captured the imagination of travelers worldwide. It is a living museum, with a unique experience around each corner! Literally hundreds of Hindu temples sit alongside with Buddhist stupas and Tibetan monasteries, with their evocative prayer flags flapping in the breeze.  Enjoy a two full days in the city for cultural orientation, basic Nepali language with different sightseeing options included each day.

Chitwan National Park

From the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu you will enjoy a 3 days full of adventures to the peace of Royal Chitwan National Park with a spectacular journey through the Nepalese countryside. 

Chitwan - Located in plain belt of the country, Chitwan is one of the most known tourism hubs in Nepal. One can enjoy the bliss of nature by traveling to another World Heritage Listed magnificent place known as Chitwan National Park.

Nepal’s first, and most famous, national park is situated in the lowlands of the inner Terai, at the foothills of the Himalayas. You’re likely to come across wild elephants, one horned rhinos, crocodiles and, on an early morning safari, an abundance of birds. It is also one of the last refuges of the Bengal Tiger, tharu village walk and Cultural immersion programs are the attractions of the place giving you the chance to participate in a range of voluntary projects. In addition, Chitwan is popularly known as the store house of corn as it is one of the most fertile lands of the country. Now a day’s chitwan is more famous location of the sports called Elephant Football & Elephant Polo.

Pokhara

Your next 3 days destination sits on the shores of Lake Phewa, surrounded by some of the world’s highest mountains. Wake up early drive to Sarangkot to see the sun rising over Fishtail Mountain with the snow caps of the Himalaya reflecting the morning’s first rays of sunlight – a most incredible sight! Trek to the Peace Stupa and enjoy a boat ride on Lake Phewa at night enjoy your Dinner with different tribal dance.

After your Tours & adventures Concluded you will begin your work with your chosen volunteer program

Volunteer Program option:

Teaching English program- you will be placed in government, community, Simi private, or boarding schools to teach English to Nepali children between the ages of 5-16years of age.

Child care Orphanage program This is a wonderful opportunity to interact with Nepali children, by helping with day-to-day activities, creating fun games or art projects, teaching English lessons, or just being the big brother or sister that these homeless and parentless children need.

Environmental awareness & conservation program- you can create or help with projects that educate local communities on conservation, recycling and other environmental issues that pertain specifically to Nepal.

Cultural Exchange Program you can enjoy the mystical culture of Nepal by staying with a local host family, you can take part in their cuisine, language, and overall traditions that makes Nepal such a fascinating country.
